Our vision at For Women of Power! is that women across the globe will walk in their purpose without limitations.
We serve women who are finding and walking in their Kingdom purpose by providing them with Kingdom and wealth building knowledge, and resources for personal, professional, and entrepreneurial pursuits.
Our Hand Up Program serves women ages 21 - 55 who are looking for a hand up to receive temporary support for their basic needs and bills. We also provide training on the following topics: faith, lifestyle and finances.
Our service areas include: Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles counties Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas. *

Partnerships Intern Status: Intern (unpaid)
2-3 hours per week (four - six month commitment desired)
Reports to: Executive Director/Founder
Position Overview & Basic Function:
The Partnerships Intern works closely with the Executive Director/Founder. The Partnership department exists to develop and enhance current and future partner relationships for our programs - the Hand Up Program provides temporary financial assistance and pop-up distributions for women. Ideally we are looking to have distributions once a month, which would require us to get donated items regularly.
Strongly preferred: someone currently pursuing a degree in Nonprofit Administration or those interested in nonprofit partnerships, and/or the nonprofit sector
Core Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage partnership data and information
- Identifying, researching and compiling leads for potential partners and in-kind donations and contacting them to form a partnership (10 minimum per week)
- Identifying, researching and compiling lists of pop up locations
- Data entry and tracking measures for our partnerships
- Outreach and raise awareness of For Women of Power!
- Other duties as needed
Specific hours, start and end dates are flexible and to be determined between the intern and the Executive Director/Founder.
Job Qualifications:
Experience and Knowledge
- Understanding and supporting the mission of For Women of Power!
- A commitment to serving underserved women.
- Ability to apply our values in relationship development, written work, and communication.
- Experience with creating and maintaining spreadsheets, developing communications materials, managing simple projects with minimal supervision, and providing outstanding work.
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google sheets.
- Experience in graphic design, marketing or communications a plus
